Pittville Pets responsibilities
• Pittville Pets agrees to provide the services stated in this agreement in a caring and trustworthy manner. We only use positive training methods and reinforcement.
• Pittville Pets is fully insured for Public Liability should any pet cause harm or damages, to the dog walker or members of the public. We are also insured against loss or injury, as well as loss of keys. Our insurance will only cover us for the above if we are responsible in some way.
• Pittville Pets will not let any dog off its lead unless express owners consent has been given. Once given we are not responsible for failure to recall.
• Pittville Pets will care for your pet(s) as you would, and we will make every effort to ensure your pet(s) is well looked after in your absence.
• Pittville Pets will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, However Pittville Pets cannot be held responsible for any burglaries or accidents caused by your pet(s)
Client Authorization
• I authorise Pittville Pets to obtain any emergency veterinary care during the time spent with my pet(s). I understand that every effort will be made to contact me prior to obtaining emergency care. I accept any responsibility for any charges related to emergency care of my pets(s)
• I agree to reimburse Pittville Pets for any additional fees for providing emergency care, as well as any expenses incurred for unexpected visits, transportation, or supplies.
• I assure that my pet(s) is/are vaccinated and is/are on a regular flea and worm control regime.
• I agree to provide a suitable lead, collar and/or harness for Pittville Pets to walk my dog with. Should Alison or her team have any concerns about what is provided, I give permission for them to use substitutes. For example, slip leads and choke chains will not be used.
• I agree to provide Pittville Pets with a key to my property to be used only as agreed/I have given her the code for a keysafe/I will be present when they pick up my dog. Any keys will be returned on my request.
Please note walks will be invoiced in advance each fortnight, and are to be paid for by cash or bank transfer by the end of that fortnight. Any extra walks will be added to the following invoice.
A 25% deposit is required to confirm petsitting bookings, with the balance due a week before the booking starts.
Cancellations by the customer are required to be made as soon as possible via telephone/text directly to Alison. If less than 24 hours notice is given then this will be non refundable except in exceptional circumstances. Please give at least week’s notice of any holidays.
In the unlikely event that Alison should have to cancel a booking this will be done ASAP via the contact telephone number provided by the customer and a full refund will be given. A visit to let the dog(s) out for the toilet will be offered instead of a walk if at all possible.

Pittville Pets collects personal information about our clients, to provide dog walking, training and petsitting services. The types of personal information we collect may be personal contact details or may include further information to enable us to care for your pets in the best way possible.

· Other information relevant to caring for your pet, such as vet

We require the above information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service and for the following reasons:

· To improve our products and services.
· We may also use your information to inform you of changes to services or advertise new offers, as well as keeping you informed of your pet’s wellbeing or progress. We may contact you by email, phone or mail.
Disclosure of personal information
Pittville Pets will not disclose, share, sell or rent any personal information Pittville Pets hold about you.without your consent or when required by law to do so. Photos and details of your pets are only shared on Social Media with your consent, and when petsitting only once you have returned from holiday.
The quality, accuracy and correction of personal information we hold
Protecting personal information is a priority and Pittville Pets always considers security and confidentiality when handling personal information. It is important that the information we maintain and use is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If at any time your personal details change, please let us know so we can update our records.
Access to Personal Information
We respect your right to access personal information Pittville Pets hold about you. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act (1998). If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect, please follow the contact details in the further information section.
Data security
Pittville Pets are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. Pittville Pets takes reasonable steps to protect all personal information we hold, from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. All paperwork and keys are kept in a locked filing cabinet, laptops and phones are password protected. Passwords will be changed once a month We will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information when it is no longer needed.
