WELCOME TO PITTVILLE PETS

pp-purple-outline.png

Does your dog get bored or lonely, sometimes causing chaos and destruction when you are at work, but you’re not sure they will cope with group walks?

Do you have problems with your dog reacting badly to other people, dogs, being home alone, or something else?

Does your cat prefer to be at home when you’re on holiday, and you would like the reassurance of someone reliable checking on them and your home?

I can help!

My specialist walking service means that your dog will be walked either on their own or with my own dog, whichever you prefer. So you can relax knowing that they are getting lots of attention and their walk is tailored to their needs.

Years of experience as a dog owner, fosterer and walker, as well as ongoing training, means that your dog can be helped to avoid, cope with and learn to calmly accept those things that scare or overexcite them. We can work together to make walks more enjoyable for you and your best friend, with regular walks and handover sessions.

Your cat, rabbit or guinea pig can be visited once or twice a day, safe in the comfort of their own territory, whilst you can enjoy your holiday knowing that you will receive regular updates, and all is well at home.

Catchment area for new clients: Central and North Cheltenham

My name is Alison Samways, and I run Pittville Pets with Dougal, my Puggle. As a pet owner and animal lover since childhood, I have also volunteered with animal shelters as a dog walker and fosterer. I currently live with two cats and dogs, three of whom are rescues, and one a Canine Partner for my housemate.

I hold a current certificate as a Canine First Responder and have a Basic Disclosure Certificate for your peace of mind.

Completed "Career as a Dog Trainer" with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers.

Working with behaviourist Helen Motteram of Social Paws as a stooge dog handler, thus assisting in her work with reactive dogs.

I am a member of the Pet Professional Network, and a supporter of the International Companion Animal Network, and agree with their policies concerning the welfare of animals and positive, force-free training.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
